Glove Remote Controlled Car
Traditionally, RC cars are controlled using remote controllers. However, in this project, we want to break this stereotype by controlling the car using a different controlling system – gloves. The goal of the project, therefore, is to implement the glove remote controller on the RC car, so that the car can be easily controlled by hand gestures.
This project consists of two parts: the glove and the RC car. The glove has sensors attached, which send out input data to the Arduino Mega that will be carried by the user. The Xbee Module on the Arduino Mega acts as a transmitter, sending out the signals to the the Xbee Module (receiver) on the RC car. The signals will then be sent to the motors on the RC car through the Arduino Mini.
This project is inspired by Jeremy Blum's open source: SudoGlove project. While his SudoGlove was made to control the motors, headlights and horn of the RC Car, our project is only focused on controlling the motions of the RC Car.
